Hi Guys,

I have a creative piece due soon. The word limit on it is 800. I was wandering how many extra words would be accepted? My teacher said upto 30- but mine reaches 860

Is it assessible? If not, put in the 860 version, as it is effectively a "draft" in any case

really? do u mean 10% of the entire 800 words, ie you could write 880 words?

Normally it is 10% either way of the total word count, i.e. in this case you could do anywhere between 720 and 880. However, if your teacher has given you a 30+ word maximum, then that is what you have to stick by.
