Kestrel for a Knave.

Do not ever read it unless you want to slowly die. It is the most boring, pointless dullest book ever written. The story line goes nowhere. Avoid at all costs!
Awww, Kes wasn't that bad... Its not as boring as Henry Lawson's short stories...

My favourites are the books we did in year 10: Maus, To Kill A Mockingbird, Romeo and Juliet and The Rabbits. And then everything went downhill in year 11...

1984 is one of the best books I've ever read. Too bad I didn't get to study it in school...
What a bummer!

I used the anti-terror laws of Howard and co. as my supplementary texts in trial lol

I loves me a bit of Orwell.

The worst novel I've ever studied or had the misfortune of reading is The Nargun and the Stars.

It's quite literally about a rock.

"The Power of One" - Now that's great literature!

My favourite book is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card which is a Journeys text. It's really really good! I recommend everyone to read it. :read:
no no no no NO! That's a bad Moodchanger08, very bad! Book's terrible, author's worse. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I have a deep-seated hatred for Orson Scott Card.

Best - John Le Carre's The Spy Who Came In From The Cold
Worst - I dunno, but it'd be like.....something about Noble Savage in Yr 9.

Best/s:
  • Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card for English Advanced this year (Comparative Study of Texts, with The Matrix) - very entertaining
  • The Hobbit - Year 7 for some comprehension quizzes
  • To Kill a Mockingbird - Year 9
Worst:

  • The Catcher in the Rye - boring, boring, boring, boring and the protagonist is the most annoying character I've ever encountered bar none

Ahh Steinbeck - I was going to use 'Of mice and men' for my english assessment - but didn't have enough time to read/analyse the book.
