What makes you cringe?

You'd have to be epically stupid to buy one of these. You spent $30'000 on an unreliable, gutless small car, with the worst handling in it's class. A mazda 2 or a Yaris pisses all over these cars in everything but the badge.

All those shitty FWD convertibles like Peugeots and VWs and UGH Ford Capris.
Pretty much the only convertibles that are good on the road today are:
MX-5s, S2000s, SLKs some Audi and BMWs.

Capris are cool now because they've rightly depreciated to be worth fuck all. Like an old volvo, so bad they've come full circle and are now sweet. A more fun car for $3000?

Agreed, all 4 seater convertibles, Astras and shit are awfull.

!! you can get an early MX-5 for around $5500 now. I might do that in the winter when prices for convertibles drop hard.

prelude would be cooler though.
