i keep hearing that actuarial studies is way more work than other commerce degrees.
so im just wondering whether combining it with adv maths is too much work?

Actuarial is just ridiculously hard, from what I'm hearing. If you want to do it - go ahead, I know there are some doing the double degree you describe and they aren't fussed about it.
