The lines in the hsc are huge and fat. You wouldn't want to do every second line.

the bos booklets have big lines anyway... but i can't really say, because for the trials, we had to write on normal A4 paper. i wouldn't have a clue how much i'm going to be able to write in those booklets!!! my little rave for the day!!

I hate having big gaps between lines. It makes my paragraphs look chunky and yuck.

I'm not leaving more space than I have to.

Looks wierd and hard to establish paragraphs/points

the booklets are spaced enough as it is

probably wouldnt get marked down, but if it pisses the markers off when theyre at their 150th essay, its best to not do it..

Reading double double spaced essays isn't a good way for them to celebrate their eighty thousandth birthday, is it?

sorry this could be a little off topic: but, do we get those same lined booklets for Maths?

That would make working hard. Flipping back over pages to see what you wrote is a pain.

Does anyone know how mnay words (roughly) you write in an 8 page HSC booklet?
no, but what I've noticed are some example past papers, the students write 4 words per line and pull it off quite nicely...

It depends on the size of your writing but for me theres about 4 written a4 pages to fill up the 8 pages of an exam booklet.

this might be a little off topic, but are you guys going to leave a space in between paragraphs when using the booklets?
ive seen some sample responses and most of them leave a line, but then i remember back to the good old days in year 7 english when we were learning how to write essays properly, we were told NOT to leave a space?
What will you guys be doing?
