Do you guys prefer writing notes or typing them?

I wrote notes in class and included them in my typed copy. Writing has better retention than typing, I must say.

For syllabus dot points I start writing them but always end up typing them but for just class notes I usually write them.

But for the syllabus points for each subject I am writing them into separate booklets.

I started writing them out, but i found if i make any mistake on the page i have to rip it all out and start again (OCD haha)

I normally type them so I can easily edit stuff which makes the quality of my notes better. It is also saves time like that. I then write them up several times until i know them off by heart.

Write in class and write for study notes.

I write my syllabus dot point notes in my study book that I have for each subject. I type the dot points up for that section and cut them out and stick them in obviously before I write the answer out! I write the dot point answer out and I am considering doing a typed copy just incase!

I write in class, for my last years physics notes I handwrote the whole chapter, before exams I write stuff out anyway to memorise so I don't really type. Only time when I looked at typed stuff if they're handouts or other people's notes or textbooks lol
