Don't panic, normally you will not take classes in this session, it's mainly for double degree students trying to finish quicker, and for those who fail a subject ...

Wow ... there are some accounting subjects during summer session. I wonder why UNSW keep saying there's no summer sessions for Commerce ( ? )

has anyone ever tried to like... do a language during these sessions? I'm interested in doing a language but I'm already doing 100% of work load for both semesters for my degree and I'm not sure whether I should enroll into a language or just wait till second year.

Is it me or am I being ignored around here...?

Ignored? What makes you think that? :)

If you are already enrolled in as a full time student doing the required load, and doing what is required of your degree, you need special permission to do extra courses. This is called overloading. This special permission might be hard to get, especially if the subject you want to overload with is not a part of your degree.

For gen ed languages you will find that they are usually not avaliable in summer session because of their length.

Gen eds can run in normal sessions, or summer/winter session.

Summer session is what we're in now, and its broken in XA, XB and XC. XB and XC usually are for shorter courses, about 2 weeks max - obviously its very hard to cram a language course into two weeks.

So you'll find that the language gen eds are usually full length 14 week courses that run in session (session 1 or session 2).

They change what summer/winter courses are available each year, by the way.. don't think that because it's not offered in X12004 that it won't be offered this time next year.
