hey guys,
just started year 11, and obviously just finished year 10.
Got pretty good results (all > 80ish), anyways has anyone else noticed that the hype they (teachers) create about year 10 (BOS letters, N awards and how easy it is to fail), was a crock of shit, and the whole year was pretty easy.
In fact i found it easier then year 9.
Let me know what you's think???

Yes it is incredibly easy, and a waste of time
You know, why don't we just go from year 9 to year 11.
Wait no, lets go primary school to year 11.

Nah nah, stuff primary school put our kids straight into year 11.

Who am I kidding when your 5/6 it's off to uni for you.

Hold on, Is getting an education a waste of time? like 7 years of primary school, 6 of secondary school, 3+ of tertiary education. so the life expectancy average over male and females is something like 81.5. so that means we spend almost 20% of our life getting an education

Of course it's easy. But then, so is HSC if your relatively smart and have practical goals.

Better idea:

Start School at 7, finish all of primary (which is bull crap anyway) in 2 years, at 9-11 you finish all of years 7 - 10 (again bull crap), then when you're 11 you do year 11, when you're 12 you do year 12, (makes sense see, 11 for 11 and 12 for 12) and then off to uni at 13.

Or we should just start school at 10 and finish by 16.

We are wasting too much time at school plus uni (25% of our life easily), all those that dont go to uni, bad luck :)

Year 10 is a waste of time, I regret even bothering at all. SC means nothing now.

Yeah, Year 10 was easy. And for me, it was one of the worst years ever. So I hated it so much.

Year 10 was the first year I ever actually failed an assesment. Serves me right for doing every assesment the morning it was due...

The world will probably end before you complete your HSC so don't sweat it.

But if they don't do their HSC, then their school cert might actually count for something ;)
