So hectic, SRC held activities for international women's day so I was running around the whole time. So glad tomorrow is Friday though :)
Cool :D
For our SRC we are designing the class of 2015 theme and logo at the moment.

Guys my friend wants to change hospitality to economics (apparently if you manage to catch up all the work you can still change subjects in my school). I tell her that it's hard to catch up the work and I personally think eco is not for her but she keeps telling me economics scale so well while hospitality scales like shit...duh

Anyway she tells me a friend of her did HSC last year and he told her getting 90 in hospitality was the same as getting 60 in economics... is it true???

First of all, why does your friend want to do Economics all of a sudden?

Think about it. It's already week 6 of year 11, and if your friend insists on changing to Economics, it's going to be really hard for them to catch up. Economics is one of those subjects where you have to understand the theory and apply it to different situations. There is some memorising involved, but it's more for definitions of terms.

Yes, Economics scales way better than hospitality, but that shouldn't be the reason as to why you would choose a subject in the first place.

As for the last question, I don't know.

EDIT: I forget to mention that there's a crapload of content to remember.

She doesn't enjoy hos in the first place really... it's becoming so hard to convince her because she thinks getting a low score in eco is even better than getting a high but scaled down score in hos :(

It'll be very difficult to get a band 6 in Standard since it aligns terribly compared to Advanced. However, if you work hard and apply yourself, you'll be fine.

Oh lol my draft is approaching that too fml
I love how you guys are complaining about having TOO MANY words and I haven't even started
:)
To be fair it is due in 5 weeks, and also is it weird that my school isn't making us compare the economies of China and Australia but are doing ONLY China. My teacher changed it just today.

Well you see, mine is due on Monday, in class, not open book and I haven't finished a single draft yet.

Same here we just have to go China's economy and not compare it with Australia.....
