Hey all.

I seem to have misplaced my sheet on the challenges faced in each phase of the business life cycle (Establishment, Growth, Maturity and Post-Maturity)

Establishment - slow start up, high set up costs, cash flow problems, losses may be incurred, risk levels high due to high uncertainty

Growth - sales growing rapidly, profits rising. lack of control structure.
business may have difficulty coping to provide funds/staff for expansion

Maturity - business growth slows, risk of losing drive and enthusiasm among workforce

Post - maturity - decline
Sales fall due to falling customers. Reasons- competition, outdated products, poor customer relations, etc
financing becomes more difficult to secure and more expensive.
