I got 39/40 (97.5%) in my first maths advanced exam of year 11, which was first in course. I haven’t got my marks for extension 1 yet, but I believe it will be about 32-34/40 (80-85%), which I also believe may be first in course. If I continue like this throughout the year, and get similar marks on my prelims, will ext 2 be good for me? Or because I did well in advanced, it may be better for me to keep doing advanced, and therefore; no ext 2?
Thanks in advance (pun intended)

You should be fine to do ext 2 if you just study well. Although for me personally ext 1-2 is a big jump in workload and overall grasping the concepts- particularly for complex numbers and proof

Just try it there’s no harm and drop if you feel it’s not for you
