I've got a killer of an assignment to do, i'll just briefly explain it . . We have to do a speech which has to be about a dot point from module 1 and another dot point from module 2 which links, and on top of that we need to do an experiment from those two dot points. Do you know any two dot points which lends them selves to do this particular assignment.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, not really, 4 days away from the HSC they're all equal
(you gotta learn em all)

Have a read, see what you understand and chose it...
Chose difficulty and depth depending on how long the speech
has to be...

If it is more than 2 minutes I'd chose an 'assess'
or an 'evaluate' they're gonna be 5-7 markers in the real
1/2 yearlies, trials, HSC etc. So its good to have them covered

Edit- you dont need help, you're from Ruse you should be helping
ME with the HSC :D

It's pretty difficult to find a direct and obvious link between two dot points from two modules. It's because they're completely different topics that they're separated into different modules. :p

Do something that you can ramble on about. For example, the potential of ethanol as an alternative fuel from module 1 and the formation of acid rain from module 2.

Discuss your opinion of journeys in the development of the haber process.
In your answer, Assess the progress of ethanol and relate your answer to the effects of sulfur dioxide and oxides of nitrogen in the atmosphere.

Umm... Ethanol and esters? lol, I dunno. There's heaps of links between 2 and 3, but basically none between 1 and 2.
I was thinking possibly esters (module 2) and acid as a catalyst (module 1). I think i forgot to add, your theme from any module doesn't need to be addressed exactly in the dot point, ie. acid as a catalyst is not addressed literally in any dot point but it's relevant to that particular module. Also, i'm thinking of doing the experiment on making esters using reflux . . what do you guys think?

A better one to link with esters is probably the condensation polymerisation dot point because then you could talk about polyesters as well.

hold on, isnt module the topics, or are you reffering to the 5 "subsections" in the core topics

some people call the topics, modules you realise?

Casmira, there is 3 modules that are compulsory and one that is an option which makes a total of 4 modules you do.
