Sorry for the long title. But I'm looking for a good year 12 general maths overview of the work covered and a suggestion for a General Maths textbook for extra help and the overview of work might help me get ahead and ontop of this subject that I'm hating so much. :(

Please help, thanks.

The best overview of the work covered is probably the syllabus which you can get from the Board of Studies site. There's a 1 page list of topics then each topic is listed in detail. It really is a well-written document.

Some good books you could buy are the Macquarie series or the Excel books.

I think the best text book to get started with the Margaret Grove's Maths In Focus. It's got some good explanations and exercises, and I like the chapter reviews and challenge exercises at the end of each chapter.

^Check the resources section. You'll find notes on individual topics there. :)
