So you know at USYD you see and get to knowalot of those asian international students who are usually doing bachelor of commerce or bachelor of economics etc and they dont have visa and will go back to their country after they graduate.

Is it true that USYD just needs them to get a good IELTS(english) test and there in the course just like that??? thats pretty unfair >.<

HOWEVER my main question is this also the case for USYD law?? You just need a good english mark and you get to go to USYD combined law? LOL?

looks like someone is horribly misinformed.

There are specific requirements for them to meet high school grades, exam marks etc which will be translated to an ATAR equivilent + ielts test for language proficiency.

And yes if they can't get a legal working visa after they graduate, they'll have to leave Australia. If they don't leave and get caught, that's a 3 year travel ban to Australia.

Don't forget some of those students might have went to international schools overseas (mostly american) which are a completely different requirement.

I know people who are doing bachelor of commerce at USYD and they did not have to give in their high school report they just took a ielts test and did foundations.

Im just wandering if this is the same for law.

Without many of these overseas students, many Australian Unis will be in financial distress. The unis get good money from tem.

That's completely different. Foundations studies is for people who don't have good enough marks, it's for both aussie and international students. If they make good enough marks in foundations, they obviously get a placement. I do not know if there are foundation courses for law and why do you care so much? Any aussie student can do foundation studies if their ATAR was too low.
