I live with parents, so its differers
How much i earn: varies shift to shift..... on average $500..... but can be as high as $1000 in the summer (i work as a chef)
How much i spend:
House - My parents don't ask me to chip in for the mortgage, but however i chip in $50 into the gas/water/power bill whenever they come
Car - $75 per/week ($50 on petrol, $25 on insurance/rego/maintenance money on the side to pay whenever they come)
Food - varies (from $20-$50 per week)
Random stuff (when im bored, i buy) - varies (from $20-$200 per week)

$300 - Credit Card (generally use this to pay for everything but food and drink)

also let hoes know you be baller with dat platinum card 18k credit limit nigga.

It's also nice to not worry about having exactly enough money in your account to complete a transaction (dat savings account).

oh and nice to have a huge credit history.

LOL that's true. Good summary. I love my QFF points :) Even thinking of buying an engagement ring on the Visa but then found out Signature Visa attracts a credit card surcharge.

Haha I remember when I bought my Evo, and every year after at the same time each year I got hit up with $5k+ of CTP/rego + comprehensive insurance.

most retail jewellers don't have a CC surcharge as far as I know, it'd kill their business.

if you can get an amex either by itself or with a bank, they have huge reward points. i get 1.5 per dollar compared to .5 on the visa lol.

Buying from a diamond wholesaler/importer so it's a little different. Funnily enough she said if your Visa card is Platinum, Signature or Black then you have to pay 1% surcharge otherwise no surcharge. Unfortunately I have one of each but no "normal" Visa cards :( AMEX was out of the question too.

that seems very odd to discriminate on the platinum cards... usually theyd throw more bennies than punish you for using it.

just get a fee free regular visa and cancel it after you paid it off buying the ring :p
