Would a stop-motion animation be a good idea?

I'm planning on picking up Extension 2 English next year, and while I'm an adequate writer, I'd prefer to do something more creative. I'm great at art, so I'm considering a stop motion film.

I would use a white board and thousands of stills to create a story. I would also incorporate other texts into the story and important concepts from the syllabus.

If executed properly and of high quality, would a stop-motion film be considered sophisticated?

Thanks, that was mad! I like the idea of a stop motion film moving (rather than drawn on a still white board) but I'm not sure how I could realistically do that, especially in a public place. I really liked the concept and the use of sound, though. Thanks again!
