Yes you can get any ATAR with any combination of subjects. You don't need MX1 to get an ATAR of 90+.

ok then, i guess ill just have to wait and see. btw you seem to be doing all the subjects i wanted and actually got, but ended up changing school, which ended up being a bad choice in terms of subjects.

Good luck! I picked these subjects because I was interested in them & knew I'd have more motivation to study for them than if I did modern history for example. I wanted to do economics but it clashed with another subject.

Just try & do your best in the subjects you've got & remember that there are other subjects you can study at uni & other ways to get into engineering. If you've got some free time you can go and research what the cutoffs are & any flexible entry programs. You can get bonus points at some unis so keep that in mind.

Thanks (if that wasnt sarcasm), im probably going to drop ext math, because the my school is really weirdly organised compared to others. Other schools have 2U Math during school, and Maths Ext 1 either before or after school, which means there are separate tests and it actually makes it easier to focus on ext1 . BUT my school has 2U and Ext Math combined into the same lesson during school hours, due to this all the 2U tests are also hardened to a Ext 1 level, even if its not part of the Ext 1 syllabus. That way i get bad scores in both subjects.

Our school combines 2+3U too. But the tests are still 2 unit level.
