Yr 12 Formal Places (1 Viewer)

As my school is full of lazy sclums, I've been put in charge of organising our yr12 formal which my teacher is pushing for me to finalise by wk5 term 1 or at least get a reservation.

Now does anyone know where a good place is or where they had their formal and has some contact details. Only condition is that it's about $100 max a person and has to be close to the city where most people live......

A few ideas have been:
-Darling Harbour
-Sheraton
-Wentworth Hotel, but now called the Sofitel i think (but maybe heaps expensive).

So yeh ideas plz??

I was going to suggest Curzon Hall at Macquarie. But I don't think that's very close About 30 minute drive.
The majority of venues will cost less than $100 if you fundraise!

Our formal was held at the resturant at The Rocks called Wateredge. It is a shit place, us 100 people were kept in a small place, probably around the size of my house (From the front door to the door to the backyard. Food was pathetic, i finished each dish with less than 5 bites, there were 3 dishes in total. Music was ridiculously loud, almost noone can stay inside while the music was playing, let alone staying on the dance floor, which is directly in front of all the speakers. Costed us $90 for the night, and it was a waste.

Wateredge is a shit place for formal!

OMG our school has about 50 ppl on the formal committee, so im just like have it wherever and ill be there eager beevers.

Curzon hall isnt that great...its kinda small. Our yr10 formal was there. Extremely pretty from the outside though, great for photos.

yeah taronga zoo was awesome even with stormy weather. the view is cool and the room is well laid out... well it was for our smallish year
