Well, the topic basically says it all..... There is a high demand for this course in uni. It is hard to find a job as an actuary. The course is hard and demanding. So what are the benefits??????????? And why does everyone want to do this course????

I was wondering wat trial papers for 4 unit r the hardest.... seeing as though there is onli 4 days until the exam, there is onli a limited amount of papers that one can do :D so i dont waste my time doing any easier papers. because all the trial papers that i have looked at seem to b easier...

Do u's think it a good idea if we "copied" a text for Journey on the HSC syllabus. Say if we changed the characters around and the storyline somewhat but kept the same journey, issues etc. In other words, copy everything but tweak it a little. Oh and of course need to shorten it to write in 40...

We have a huge variety of techniques listed in a few threads, but none of these threads tell how these techniques are used to convey the journey. Isn't that supposed to be the most important part? Can some of u's pls post the use of these techniques in expressing the journey? :)

Do we absolutely need to get examples of our techniques in our essays or can we just list the techniques without examples?

I have written prepared essays, but not prepared any speeches, feature articles, letters, conversations and any other forms. All I have are essays. Does any1 have any tips on how to change forms into al the other forms while keeping the same content? Thanks

Do u guys think the older HSC papers say about 1995-1998 r easier than the more recent ones like 2001-2003? coz i've been doin the 1995-1998 ones and i can pretty much do up to and including question 8, however a few parts i have left out as it either was too difficult or took up too much...

For the modules that require additional texts, do u guys write big definable chunks on each of the texts or do u blend it into ur essay? I've heard the good essays do integrate each of the text into the essay instead of writing a paragraph on each. Which do u guys do? and for the ones...

my school is ranked in the 70s. we have 6 assessments in physics including the half yearlies and trials. I bombed out real bad in 3 assessments altogether worth about 40% of the school mark. All 3 were below 50%. But on the happier side, I killed the half yearly, trial and other assessment...
