Hi,

I have an assignment for mathematcs were i have to examine the topic of trigonometric ratios. Basically i have to write a sumary on the topic, including andy relevaant formulas, and hints on solving. I also have to include 5 questions that involve the use of trigonometric ratios from any HSc paper.

Does anyone know where i can get some indepth info on this topic?

Much love,
Janani

well, start wit the basics

sin@=o/h
cos@=a/h
tan@=o/a

then write out the cos rule and sine rule.
then just look around for trigonometry questions i guess =)
good luck

Questions can be found on the Board Of Studies website, Most of the formulae are in your textbook, hints on solving are a bit harder, i would suggest simplifiying all the way and looking for numerical answers using formula like sin ^{2}\Theta +\cos ^{2}\Theta =1

Also, maybe, look at the values of the trigonometric ratios and how they occur. That is, trigonometric tables (for example, the values of sine as the angle increases).

There is also alot of information regarding the History of Trigonometry.
