Let's do a comparison of foods in the:
City/Suburbs:
Woods/Wild/Battlefield:
That's why the people in the woods/wild stay healthy, live longer and perhaps enjoy life more.
I would need a refrigerator to store frozen goods but to aquire fresh food all I need is my knife as a bare minimum.
Of course the typical metropolitan person is spoilt and thrives too often on processed foods.
I'm tired of city food.
When I fought in the Middle East, Alaska and America, I only ate processed food if it was stolen or acquired from enemy storages. The rest of my food supply and rations was through hunting and gathering.
City/Suburbs:
- Farm animals nourished on steroids and antibiotics.
- Sprayed fruit, waxed to look shiny.
- Frozen or canned vegetables.
- Fast foods.
Woods/Wild/Battlefield:
- Venison, rabbit, pheasant, fish, etc.
- Wild apples, coconut.
- Fresh tubers, salads.
- Fast. Don't eat.
