Was k=10. I know it was either k=-10 or 10.

I think ur right. I got 5, -1 as other roots and 2 in the middle.

To everyone: In saying that, I don't remember 100% correctly.

About proof question on tan, u just expand - easy shit.

For the inverse function did you have to draw it or find the equation?

Loved questions 1, 2 and 6. Disliked parts of the rest and despised 7. If I can manage 70% I'll be glad. Hopefully minimal silly errors can get me through.

I do agree with the people who said it was a relatively easy test. Most of it was straight forward. But under the pressures of a exam situation you are suspectible to making some silly choices, careless mistakes etc.

Hey
Overall good exam, hoping 76+, but awful time management. For the last probability question, the binomial one (50 multiple choice, 0.3 chance of correct), the non-accelerants havent done binomial yet, so the topic was supposed to be removed, but the maths coordinator was damn sure there was a permo's and combo's way of solving the question. Does anyone know what it is, cause i just solved it using binomial, and could NOT figure out the other way. Apart from that, pretty good exam. Not too hard, not too easy.

Answer was k=2; I'm certain.

And to the guy asking about how you get rid of h, we are given h=kr; you work of that if i remember correctly.
do u remember the exact question? I could solve it again to find the correct answer. I'm sure the answer was either 1 or 2. I just can't remember which one.
