i got an idea of doing two languages in my hsc, but there is a few dilemma in my case:
  1. if im doing two language (japanese continuers and chinese beginners) in OHS, will it be hard to keep it up since there is no teacher to guide me through the course?
  2. if im able to add japanese extension to my hsc, will this be extremely impossible to keep up?
  3. although im quite sure that i will get both languages in the 90s range, will chinese beginners level pull me down due to scale down?
  4. if i decide to change my subject, which subject should i drop from the original list (the list of subject is on my sign)?
thx for advance to anyone whos reply.

As someone who has done OHS [only one language though], I can say at times it is hard to motivate yourself to work when you don't having a teacher supervising you every lesson. However, if you're a lazy sod like myself, and manage to fall about 8weeks behind, they'll send you a warning letter and make you catch up etc. That said, it should be ok doing two languages by correspondance, as long as you keep up with the regular phoning and sending in work.

I'm not sure about scaling, but I think the extensions usually scale up. If you're changing subjects later, drop whatever you like least/are worst at. As far as I know, they all scale pretty well so that shouldn't be much of an influence.

Good luck :]
