yeah i use EXP share in patches of grass and caves but i prefer my starter to get all the EXP from trainer battles. and since wild pokemon aren't as strong, it takes me a long time to train. i realise it's a weird way of doing things though lol, i just keep to the same strategy. what's super EXP gain? haha i feel like such a noob, i don't know any of this EV stuff.

I found it personally quite hard to level up my pokemon for the elite four, after defeating the gyms... i waited for agggesssss. THen the event for arceus came up (lvl 100!) and used it to wipe out the elite four. Then i leveled up my pokemon on the battle island/frontier. Highest currently (other than arceus before my mum took my games off me) was 97. That was my emploeon? (i so spelt that wrong).

I traded my lvl 50 garchomp for a lvl 20 spiritomb... <3 haha. haha. haha.. *fade out*
Found my lugia and manaphy hiding somewhere in my games... (yah!).. Can't wait for gold and silver.ohhh yeahhhh.

I really want a shiny pokemon and my pokerader doesn't work ... *ish sad*

That's why I love emulators, can speed it up and train levels in seconds. Also <3 save states.
Not really 'cheating' just saving some time. I stopped platinum level farming (finished main stuff) for a sec and went back to emerald yesterday and in like 1.5 hours irl time, id played 9.5 hours in game thanks to epic speed up. I got my mudkipz up to level 15 or something before owning May, it was pretty lol. Now I have a Marshtomp, Kirlia and Aron around 25ish.

Ugh, I had some massive argument with some fag on another forum about using Pokesav etc. to bypass the chore of EV training and levelling up. He was against everything it stood for, and began criticising me for not wanting to spend 9001 hours training instead of battling.

who ever uses pokesav is an ass hole I've vs'd people who have used pokesav on their games and still owned them with my uber team which includes multiple shinies my team includes: giritina (shiny), charizard (shiny), rayquaza (shiny), mewtwo, torterra, and arceus (lv 100 event).

It was quite good.

SS was the first game where I started delving into EV Training as well, which was fun at times.

I'd play it again.

you gotta vs giovanni in cerulean city first, in the rocket hideout (i think, the one at the basement of the gambling place), after beating him you get the silph scope, which lets you see the ghosts in pokemon tower, so you can put the restless marowak spirit to rest and rescue mr fuji, then he gives you the poke flute, then you can get snorlax outta the way.
