I often get ie up to 1200-1600mb without even doing anything that would (in my mind) warrant it.

I just opened two taps on my IE and it capped at 10,000K. Something up with your IE, DL firefox or Chrome and check the difference.

and scroll down, ur cpu usage says 67%, but IE + DWM + Winamp + Word is only using 45%

and it shouldn't be lagging at 67%

Then why is two tabs killing off 200MB of her RAM when mine only takes 10MB?

I dont think the DDRx xxxxMHz would make that much of a difference.

She is only showing processes from her user. She needs to click "show process from all users" to truly see what is happening.

IE is terrible. Get something else. I often have trouble with it. Sometimes if i use it and after i exit there is still some random ie process running, and unless i end it i cant use the desktop. It just goes inactive kinda, cant select anything. Weird
