i doubt it especially if you get really bad assessment marks probably means you'll do badly in another major exam such as the HSC anyway.

However, it's not so much the raw marks as the rank. If you're performing well relative to everyone else, maybe your papers are just especially hard.

No really, what do you define as "Really terrible assessment marks"?

And as mentioned before, ATAR does rely a bit more on the ranks.

Yar it is possible depending on what school you go to/strength of your cohort, the difficulty of the exams/harshness of marking, the subjects you are getting these marks in and how many of these "really terrible assessment marks" you are getting.

hey shaoxiong, i am guessing your from oatley from your previous post..if you are that school isn't ranked in the 50s probably in the 200s.

Anyways if you want to get 90+ Atar you need to be ranked in the top 10 - 20 for your cohort and basically smash every exam. Terrible marks = terrible Atar

remember 90 atar means you are top 10% of the state
