My mum is forcing me to go to Hillsong -_-

I don't think you really need to make Eco notes. I've just used the textbook and Leading Edge stuff. In an exam, I just hope I remember (which I do) and then just make it up and go. If you make notes for Economics you just rote learn it like people do in Maths. If you go by thinking it out, it'd be better...

How are you guys studying for english?
After reading prescribed (and related if needed) texts, I go onto JSTOR and print out ~300 pages of journal articles - then I make notes on them.

Then, whilst I'm analysing texts/writing my essays, I top my analysis off with what I've taken from the articles. Guaranteed A Range.

Alot of work, yes, but English Advanced is my favourite subject...

Don't you have to be a member to access journal articles?

It's a journal database and they have articles about absolutely everything.
For me, they had articles on all my texts except Romulus, My Father (Not that articles would be very helpful for Belonging).

Yeah me too. Though I don't even know if my essays cover the module syllabi. I don't know wtf the syllabus wants.
Yess. I'm still trying to work out what this whole conflicting perspectives thing is about. And whenever I read the text I have no freaking idea what he's on about.

Also, freaking Solvay process :angry::angry::angry:

I don't think JSTOR had any good articles on Frankenstein + B/R either...
Hamlet it had some decent ones, but my school already provided better professional essays/articles with a handbook which were much mroe relevant.

Which text do you do x_jiiM?

You can access JSTOR at Sydney Uni Libraries. It isn't that good. If you do go to Fisher Library, you'll find other Journals too...
