I'm working at a pharmacy now, I'm enjoying it. And I can actually sell the products without thinking "They could get a better deal some where else."

Start school a year younger than everyone else. Then when you graduate you'll only be 17 and employers will be more inclined to hire you for cheaper rates I would think.

Haha yeah, there are people in Year 10 who are older than me (I'm in Year 12).

I think the problem is that many people in this thread are over selling them to employers. Like if your applying to maccas and send all your achievements they think that you ll leave ASAP when you get a better job. Training and hiring people cost alot of money for businesses and they rather want people for the long term. So in short undersell yourself.

I never said I wasn't going to get a job in uni, get your facts right! Year 12 > stress than uni*, because you have to learn biggest BS topics that you're not even interested in. At least in UNI you actually learn something worthwhile and keeps you motivated. board of studies < UAC :D

*Unless Uni is another load of BS, that changes EVERYTHING -_- :(

I just worked one shift a week, and took leave during exams. Not stressful at all.

I guess it depends on the job/hours/travel time etc.
