I'm voting Labor as are a lot of people I know.
and thereby ignoring their litany of transport and planning failures such as:

- failure of the tcard
- inability to deliver crucial links in the cityrail network
- shitty trains and constant delays in replacing them
- inner west busway wtf
- hopeless public transport in regional centres e.g. newcastle
- being perennially in the pocket of sleazy leb developers who want to turn every second building into a nightclub for their leb buddies

economic failures:

- failure to privatise sydney ferries
- failure to privatise the power companies for anything more than a fire-sale price
- failure to revise ridiculous OH&S laws which needlessly increase the cost of doing business

governmental failures:

- rampant factionalism which impedes any semblance of good government
- corruption e.g. karyn paluzzano
- proroguing parliament to avoid public scrutiny

the list fucking goes on

basically if you vote for labor in this election something is fucking wrong with you

why do u even get to vote, your views on everything are fuked

you are the nutcase that said security at australian unis should carry guns
I say the same about you. As do a majority of people nationally currently as we have a Labor government.

Security should be armed also. It is good policy.

This poll also needs a third option for the Greens.

I agree with you about the bolded items. I'm not voting Liberal, as are a lot of people. I will most liekly vote Labor, although are still undecided.

I wrote this somewhere on this place shortly after Kenneally took over and Rudd snubbed her. Everyone was saying how lovely she seemed and how mean it was of Rudd. I saved the text but stupidly didn't bookmark it. Still, I think you might appreciate it.
That was a good read. I agree entirely. I also remember people falling for her charm while neglecting the hard facts.

The point you make on her being the most unpopular premier in history is an extremely valid one. Her values are very different to what she ultimately portrays them to be.

Basically if you are not there mentally or are a developer, you will vote for Labor.

Even though the polls are looking pretty bad for Keneally, I am still astounded by the fact she even has any supporters.

Developers are not all bad. Just bevause your view is an outlier (remember there is a federal Labor government now) does not mean everyone else is screwed up, perhaps you are the screwed up one.

The last galaxy poll showed half of Labor's 20% primary vote was soft and could still abandon them during the campaign. The rusted on vote is just 10%. Utterly unprecedented.

Yet I suspect after Anna Bligh(and possibly Mike Rann) has gone to the polls it won't be unique. Victorian Labor and federal Liberal dodged major bullets in losing the 07 and 10 elections respectively and O'farrell made the best decision of his career to pull out of the leadership contest after Brodgen resigned(probably, O'farrell would have won in 2007 but his mandate would have been less impressive).

For the love of god, in the name of the left cause, the Keynesian, the trade unionists, the socialists, the social democrats, the Greens, the Australian Democrats, the sex and the general public, shut the fuck up! You know how batshit insane you are? The Tory's on this place now speak to me as if I'm part a more reasonable left, you've pushed a problem child nutter into the mainstream with your idiocy. Just shutup!

Omgosh I loled so hard at this.

You do know there is a difference between a state and federal governement right? Even if they were magically the same, you do understand Labor is governing the country through a minority government.. right? This makes your claim that my view is an outlier absurd.

Yes, I understand that. The l=claim is not absurb however.

Lets not forget near naked Peter Debnam and near naked Tony Abbott. Wait, maybe there is a connection before Liberal Leaders, speedos and losing elections? Has O'farrel donned the speedos yet?

Yeahh I don't think somebodys swimmers are going to influence my vote. I'd much rather rely on the massive failure of policy over the extended term of this utterly useless government.
