I'm not talking election strategy anymore. It's already been established Barry's strategy is safe and reliable. You're just repeating what's already been said.

I'm talking from my own perspective, a voter. There's so much wrong with this state. We've been subjected to a pathetic excuse of a government for so many years, so I feel let down because I would expect an opposition which has been so critical of this government to actually propose something outstanding. As I said, Barry's policies are excellent and they kind of address what's needed - atleast in some capacity - but they're not incredible.
Is you're disapointment in O'farrell so great you're contemplating voting for Labor? You don't need to respond I know the answer is no which is the point, now he won't polarize disenchanted labor type. Furthermore he's containing expectations and then when the sobering truth sets in in two or three years time; that a new government can't wave a wand and save the world, he won't suffer the popularity plunge like Rudd and Obama.

No you goose, your idiocy about O'farrell needing more chutzpah when an election is there for the taking is how you end up with results like 1993 and 2004 federal or 2007 nsw. O'farrell campaign has been near perfect.
^ This is very true. He just needs to sit back and let this happen.

yeah of course they are they are scum but what's wrong with NSW caused by Labor?

Public transport, as far as I'm aware, is 100% fine it's just people are childish whiners because waiting longer than half a minute for a bus or a train is an outrage

My experience in hospital was fine and nothing went wrong and I never had to wait forever for things (broken leg)

My teachers were excellent and my curriculum were great as well (public school) but obviously the other students were terrible

The police are and always have been retarded so there's nothing new there

Gun laws should be redone because I'd feel like a big man carrying a concealed firearm

Drug laws as well but whatever

Libs did a major fuck up on their urban consolidation policy imo. Driving more people to the west just because their rich voters in the north shore/bondi junction area don't want to live next to apartments.

my experience with hospitals

public hospital: wait for 8 hours, have to be with poor people who were in the army in a shared room, terrible everything, cripplingly depressing

private hospital: white glorious paradise. Champagne with dinner, chillaxing, internet wifi 3.0 web computer, own room, no poor people, no army members

the liberals just announced a multi-billion dollar health upgrade including upgrading the dubbo and wagga base hospitals at $50million and $125 million each respectively, something the alp has held off doing for years despite promises to the contrary

stop lying you cunt
Okay, so the Liberals propose putting $175 million into two hospitals and lets say another $25 million (give them the benefit of the doubt) for the school crossing lights. So thats $200 million promised yet they are cutting BILLIONS of dollars in services and infrastructure. Not to mention the infrastructure (Sydney Water et all) they are planning on selling if they win government.

employment increased in the period workchoices was in place

so what is your problem with it? seeing as employment figures are all you seem to worry about
This is why Liberals will never win again while thye have people liek you about. WorkChoices was bad for the majority of the population and the Howard government was raped at the 2007 election as a result. Most moderate Liberals realized this and backed away from WorkChoices, it is only the hard wing religious right Liberals still behind WorkChoices (including Tony Abbott as he has said in a few radio interviews and refused to rule out bringing back WorkChoices under a different name).

Nothing could be worse than Labor.
A lot of parties could be. I.e. Sex party, Shooters and Fishers Party, Socialist Party, Liberal Party, Nationals Party, Marxist party etc

I agree. At one point I thought Liberals had it in the bag, and they still probably do by a long shot (as indicated by opinion polls), but it wouldn't be a massive shock if Labor somehow scraped through.
This

Labor have run a good campaign so far. Liberals have done okay also, although their campaign is lack lustre and they lack in policy also.

there's a huge difference between the power of the labor smear machine, and the liberals', in fact they don't even seem to have one

i mean look at davidbarnes' propaganda trying to make the liberals look bad
why aren't the liberals bombarding us with all the fuckups labor have made in the last 10 years
It is not propaganda at all, it is the truth from an unbiased perspective.

I agree with you that the Liberals should start running more of a negative campaign against Labor and their failings.
