Marks are easy just got to matrix atar calculator and use the function ATAR to marks. It shows you exactly what marks you would need for that ATAR.

English Std = 89 <----- Good luck getting in the 99th percentile for that
Business = 92
Maths = 91
Economics = 89
Legal = 92

internally it's about rankings, and ranking relates to the external marks....if that made sense

eg. your coming 2nd internally in a subject, then you get the second highest msrk in the external exam of your school

but ranking is most important , and the gaps between the highest and the person below you.

I think that system is stupid
But im coming top 2 in everything besides english with marks of 90+

Well, internal marks only count for 50% so work it out, you do maths. Remember, you only asked for what internal and external marks, nothing about ranks. Lets just say i would try to remain within 4 marks at the maximum of those marks there for your internals and you'll be fine, even if it was 4 marks below . However, if you want to know what ranks you need to achieve to get 96 post the number of students in each subject and school rank and people will help you out, that way, IMO is much more effective.

english 85
everything else 90

will get me 95.7
