This is a serious question. For me, and most of my friends, most of our HSC learning is done at home, through independent study. I don't learn anything in class, except maybe English, and the only reason I go to school is to socialise (and because it's compulsory). What are your thoughts?

My tutor teaches in Sydney Boys. He's Korean and his name is andrew. Do you know him? He's an English teacher.

And to answer this question, yes I learn a lot in class. Esp Chem and Phy, because I have an excellent teacher who simplifies everything and explains it very well. Math... meh. I do learn but not effectively. English I don't learn anything and SOR I don't learn anything.

@jamesfirst : I don't recall seeing any Korean English teachers. He might be new.
@ K4M1N3 : Most of my teachers are alright. Phys teacher has a PhD but can't teach too well. Maths teacher is pretty bad, but no one pays attention in Maths anyway. English teacher is good when he's around, but he doesn't show up half the time. Eco teacher uploads a LOT of resources on the school database, so he's pretty good.
At our school many people don't see school as a primary resource. Teachers are mainly there for reference, after we study textbooks and complete past papers at home.

I do not learn anything from Chemistry. Every lesson is just monotonous droning. For Modern History, my teacher isn't there half the time. He just sits in the staff room.
Best would definitely be my Biology teacher. She is amazing at teaching.

I learn in all my subjects to some degree. Some I learn more in class than others. I don't learn much at all in Modern History.

Havent been learning much at all in the last term as a result of my Chem teacher going on stress leave and my PDH teacher , teaching me Chem which he knows nothing about and a PE teacher teaching my PDH bt doesnt pay attention to me as im the only student and teaches year 11 (combined class)
My english teacher is new this term or year ? cant remember and gets side tracked a lot by the other two girls but when we do work its worthwile
My biology teacher is great as is my maths teacher who explains everything simply and puts in the extra time for us 2 students
:)
