a maths teacher had 7 people in the ext1 class. everyone got ~35% for their exams throughout the year. 6/7 got an E4

The problem with standard is the aligning. I remember in my year, students who were killing standard throughout year 11 and 12 just managed to scrape low-80's in the HSC. Even to get a final mark of 87 is very difficult.

I'm not on 87%. I bombed out the first two and got 10/15 and 17/25 but I've picked up my game since then and I'm ready to smash trials and HSC.

..or that means his school marks easily

Also, my school marks relatively on par with HSC for English and Bio and harder for everything else. My school usually gets the top 5ish in the high 80s to low 90s in standard except for last year. They only got like 4 band 6s in Advanced. It was a really bad English year.

yea it just pisses me off how some people dont understand the most simple of concepts related with the hsc.
hope you rape the hsc and trial english exams!
