its kinda like grad entry where u have to do a degree first and ur progression into MBBS depends on your grades. u dont have to sit the gamsat or do another interview (except for ANU where u have to do gamsat but its a hurdle)

standard=straight outta year 12 or taken a gap year
non-standard=started uni

bonded=have to work in area of shortage designated by government for same length as your degree after u finish
unbonded=dont have to

And btw, did you apply for multiple universities? e.g. interstate..

For my I'd prefer to stay in NSW, and go to UWS but also.. I'd go anywhere to do med, however I'm under the assumption that UWS is the easiest place to get into and if I can't get into UWS I wouldn't have a chance interstate-wise..
Should I be under this mindset? or should I apply interstate anyway.

So who is given out the bonded places? Is it like the people who just 'scrape' through and gain entry? The same length as your degree.. so 5/6 years, geez.

e.g. if monash had 200 spots, by government legislation, 25% of all places have to be bonded. thus 40 bonded places. top 160 applicants get unbonded, bottom 40 get bonded.

apply everywhere and decide after u get ur UMAT results, i knew i could get in after finding out mine. i still applied, just didnt attend any of the interviews.
