Investment banking is super competitive so people take up double degree combinations such as law in order to give themselves a bit of an edge.Isn't investment banking just about the financial aspect?, so why would you need law for this?

+1You don't need a law degree. However, it may give you insight to some situations which you might encounter in the IB world.
Furthermore, IB is extremely competitive - and you will need to rely on any possible advantage to get ahead of others.

Job prospects are pretty shit in law these days and a lot of my tutors say law is useless for IB since the skills acquired in law would be pretty useless.troll
