That was a hard paper compared to previous years. I think I got about 70.

ok what about 27/84 what would that get?
e2. Q1 and Q2 were your best chance to maximise your mark like quite easy to get about 22/24 from the first two question. After that i got my mind screwed. Probs scored only 25/60 maybe less.

I was pretty upset cos i think i only got like 60-65 ... But that'll still make an E4 wont it?

I thought q3 Was hard..and q4 circle geometry the last 2
the 2nd one required so much working out. I'd reckon that should be worth 3 marks instead of 2.

the last one, I didn't bother doing because i knew i was going to go through 10 lines of working out for 1 mark.

Will 83/84 scale to 100?
at least 99, but this year it should be 100.

2010's e4 cutoff was a 56/84
I think by the looks of it, the cutoff for E4 will be lower, I suppose 52/84

Not really. the second one required about 5 lines, the last one about 3 (well, depending on how much explanation you put in)

lol I wrote around 6-7 lines for that question. =_=
I guess it depends on what method you use get there. I'll admit, for part (iii) my method was pretty fudgey. Hope I still get the mark though.. :S

in the circle

Angle DAB = x (angles in isosceles triangle)

angle CDA = 2x (exterior angle of a triangle)

angle CDA = angle COA

therefore CDOA is cyclic (angles in the same segment are equal)

that's how i did and it didn't take too long. hope i was right though
