10 units vs 12 units??? (2 Viewers)

I said this numerous times but its up to the individual and their capacity to work with 12 units or 10 units. Just remember only 10 units get counted as part of your ATAR at the end of the day but 12 or more units allows a lee-way for any subject you may be failing in - not saying you guys will. Both have its advantages and disadvantages but it is up to you and your capability to study for these subjects for the HSC examinations etc in the end. Your choice so make it a good one! And ^ agreed... there are alternative pathways to university so do not fret!

I agree. It really up to personal preference. If you can't cope with the workload of 12 units, drop down. If you think you can handle it and you want a fall-back unit in case something goes wrong then stick with 12 units. If your enjoying all 12, stick with them. If you hate a subject but are doing it for the sake of doing it, drop it. Whatever you think is best for you really is the best option.

wtf? this has no relevance the the origianl question..
if you cant handle year 12, even thought its not even that stressful.. >_> then drop out and go tafe, there's always other pathways to uni

(i did 10 units, you have a lot of time on your hands)

I did 13 units. Didn't have too much trouble with it.

If you enjoy the subject, do it. If not, there's no reason to keep it.
