We have 4 periods a day, one consisting of 1 hr and 15 mins. I'd rather 5 periods with 1 hr.

Holy crap, your periods are super super long.

We have 8 periods a day. Each one is roughly 35-45 minutes long.

Yeah we have 5 x 1 hour periods, works out quite well in my opinion, plus 2 x 30 minute breaks, however on Thursdays (sports day) we have 3 x 45 minute periods.

At my school we get 5 periods per day that last for 1 hr. That seems to be the most common combo.

I get free periods this yr because I am doing 2 extension subjects which are obviously off line, therefore I have a spare line and still have enough units. Some get free periods because they are doing TAFE.\

And why are some of you complaining about Maths? Basic stuff is the very first chapter of the 2/3 U course anyway so everyone has to do it....

I just did 2 hrs of physics and I still don't feel I did enough, or there are things I don't get. How the hell is this gonna work, let alone studying mx1.
