Hello my friends. I have been thinking on consolidating all the work I've done so far, but I don't know how to manage the time to do it. I have to do tutor homework as well as write up new notes as I progress through each school day. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't manage my time well enough to go over old concepts and I don't want this to carry on any longer.

stop writing your bio notes and do some past papers. that's a good way of consolidating. :)

I mean like should I stop to consolidate for a few days and miss out writing notes for more dotpoints for a few days, or should I just finish my notes and consolidate. My bad for misleading information. By the way Jnney, I'm only in the beginning of Blueprint T.T . Don't know if I should stop or keep going.

Definitely do past papers, they'll help you discover holes in your understanding.

I 'consolidated' after Term 3, pretty much. That's definitely too late.

I'd suggest using the holidays as consolidation sessions.

My half yearlies are coming up so I have to organise times to consolidate my previous work. I just don't know when.. I'm talking about previous Core topics or whatever, not the things I've just recently covered in class.

Try doing it Friday nights. That's what i'm going to do now.

I know what you mean though. You just keep getting more and more information flooded into each day and the old stuff starts to corrode a bit.

But seriously, don't leave it ALL to the holidays. I left Term 1 notes for the summer holidays. Took me 2 weeks to do my bio and chem notes (very detailed). Don't do it - it was hell =_="

I did exactly that bahaha. So I just need to consolidate consistently. The timing is weird though..

If you find it impossible (though i would seriously try catching up) just grab some notes of the resource section to sustain yourself for the half yearlies. Then, once they're over, continue with your own notes, using the notes you used as an extra resource.

i've stopped learning ahead for chem, bio and maths so i can consolidate. if you just keep learning ahead and forget everything else from before you pay start to panic when exams come around.

i was talking about past paper questions for maintaining a balance.

You shouldn't be learning ahead if you are not strong with a topic. You won't have time/or will have little time to consolidate later. Should be consolidating now! :)

I can only study from my own notes. It doesnt feel right using another person's for some reason..
