I would say that you'd be hard pressed to find any degree that you will enjoy every single course that is a part of it. I'm loving Software, but the courses can be really fucking shitty.

What is it about management, eco and accounting that you're finding unmotivating?
actually now that i think about it, i actually like acct and eco but mgmt i find a bit boring. but like you said there is going to be 1 or 2 courses every semester i dont like, i just have to learn to persevere. thanks for the advice man :)

Well, if you're going to pick up engineering - how good are you at maths?

Halapenyo m8 just stick to it, there's ups and downs and like lolsmith said, you aren"t always going to enjoy every aspect of your degree

Also you can't even transfer until next year so I think it might be a bit early to start thinking of transfers.

Plus you need to get a certain WAM and meet other requirements to transfer, see here: https://my.unsw.edu.au/student/academiclife/program_transfer/InternalProgramTransfer.html

and https://my.unsw.edu.au/student/academiclife/program_transfer/program_trans_Eng.html

EDIT: Plus, I also found this thing:

Applicants from outside the Faculty of Engineering without a mark of at least 60 in MATH1131 (or equivalent) AND without a background in HSC Physics (or equivalent) should only consider program 7015, Diploma of Science, Engineering & Technology (DipSET).

I have done engineering courses and commerce courses and there is no contest about which one is more interesting (engineering by a country mile) and the maths is the same as what you learn in first year and second year, the difficult part is applying it to engineering problems and understanding the concepts.

I guess I'd be 1.5x popular then lol. Half jap half white..

well like lolsmith pointed out it is not possible to like every single course you do in your degree. so im just going to reassess at the end of the year. you kept commerce till the end of last year rite? so i will do the same and then if i find its still not for me, i will look at transfer options.
