Friend will play 80 today though.
you mean 50*/rest of the match

he shouldn't have. Mitchell, ideally, should've come back on for the ending exchanges of the 2nd half. I suspect Smith will remain loyal to Friend and won't want to upset the higher beings....

needs to start early again. Friend is too much of a workhorse in defence to provide any spark in attack

ok yes this is why he's good (gettin supa coach points 4 da tackles lool)
i did initially like mitchell but from what i've seen he makes too many mistakes with the ball.
not something you want with your players, especially hooker.

roosters were a bit shaky in the first half (but still pretty good)
that combined with the warriors playing sehr terrible, we had to win
but in the 2nd half i don't know what happened no ball security at all from roosters i was expecting a massive turnaround on the scoreboard by the warriors :/

take a look at the speed and service at which Mitchell distributes the ball and now compare it to the pace at which Friend distributes it

now tell me who looks much more efficient passing from dummy half.

it's no surprise that once Mitchell came off that our attack began to slow down

don't get me wrong, Friend is a great player as such and tackles his arse off, but his attacking game leaves a lot to be desired. It's that two-steps/pause/then pass thing that Friend does, along with a pretty average-slower spiral pass, which is holding back his game

Mitchell is more simply a greater distributor of the bal; and a lot more zippier and faster.

games are won from the ruck. slow wobbly passes = forwards get dominated, no time and space for halves to move.

quick passes and all of a sudden players get half a second to a second more to move around and create space

yes he's a lot faster but he still makes a lot of mistakes with the ball
if he disciplined himself more, learned to minimise his mistakes and compensated for his poor passes i may grow to like him again

also: SKD and JWH, I had a massive man-crush on them tonight. luv dose 2 crazy kids

poor passes? granted he threw a dodgy pass to Pearce in the lead-up to SKD's first, his service was outstanding and rates much better than Friendy's.

also, errors? Friend has made 4-5 errors this year, going through the stats Mitchell is yet to record any

SKD was great, still sloppy at times but forms the basis of our attack. Him and Maubs anyway

JWH and Kennedy are awesome. Kennedy something like 190m in 55 minutes. JWH 120~. Tasi 116m in 33 minutes

Friend should move to lock. He can do all the tackling he wants there

i've heard of a rift between Sandow and Hayne

Especially now Hindmarsh is retiring
Also I can't be the only one who hates both Hayne and Sandow
