Why is it taking so long for the 2012 HSC exams to become available on the board of s (1 Viewer)

on the board of studies website?

It’s really annoying, they should all be up by now, all the 2011 exams were all there last year at this time. It’s really frustrating for those of us who are going into Yr 12 next year, we want those exams so we can practice the stuff on those exams that we have already learnt.

Maybe they review exam or something? Regardless there are plenty of papers available online for practice.

You sure the 2011 ones were up this early? I'm pretty sure when i got my raw marks back for a couple of subjects the papers werent up yet and i just checked and i got my raw mark around this time last year.

Copyright for paper copy and internet publication differ.

I'm pretty sure they release it later so nobody would both disputing the marking schemes etc.

^, but most HSC students have access to the exam paper anyway. Oh, you mean marking guidelines?

No, pretty sure they mean the papers themselves. Only some students (not neccesarily in full), and teachers have access to the 2012 paper.

I don't remember them ever being up in December.

As for the copyright issue - the BOS does get the copyright for a print copy and sometimes never get the electronic copyright which is why in subjects like the histories the sources are still 'awaiting copyright' 10+ years after the exam was done.

Yep, I've never seen them all up this early. They are usually all there by the end of January from memory.
