I remember when I was about to watch the WWE Royal Rumble on Monday, they were putting these promos about Mundine v Geale and then Mundine was like "I'm the best athlete this country has ever produced. Ever."

And I almost burst out laughing.


That said, I don't mind it when CM Punk goes out every Monday Night Raw and does his "I'm the Best in the World" shindig. He was WWE Champion for 434 days - the longest reign in the Modern Era, and the longest reign in the last 25 years, and the third-longest reign in the history of the WWE Championship (?).

Anthony Mundine just sounds like some sore loser who's trying to prep himself up and gloat about how good he is.

And in the words of Dolph Ziggler: "It's not showing off, if you back it up".
