Something tells me that Tony Abbott already has Work Choices prepared if he is to become PM, he will simply have it rebadged and rebranded.

Abbott is the one who wanted to show what a female rights champion he is, by attacking his former confidant Peter Slipper (who turned his back on the LNP and became a Labor independent- he votes with the Labor Party on key issues of public policy). Abbott went to Peter Slipper's wedding. But just to destroy the Labor Party's chances to hold on to power, Abbott went on a savage attack on Slipper claiming that Slipper was a sexist and misogynist. Slipper's emails were as a result of blemishes in his actions but it was never sexist. Julia Gillard then rightly pointed out that she will not be lectured by Tony Abbott when it comes to sexism and misogyny. It was proven that beyond reasonable doubt that Tony Abbott has a bias against women rights in Parliament. Thus Tony Abbott is unfit to lead the once great Liberal Party and the nation.

Tony Abbott if he gets in will rip up the National Broadband Network from Labor's heart, eat it and spend money on his inefficient Broadband policy. Turnbull has not interest in rural Australians. Just shows what a reckless Party the Liberal Party of Australia is.

I'm pretty sure Turnbull has said that the Coalition would be committed to an evaluation of the NBN should a Coalition government commence early next year. I believe the concern is that, at that point in time, the NBN might cost more to rip up than to finish or amend. At that point in time the fibre footprint of the NBN could might be reduced, extending the range of cheaper wireless coverage. At that point in time, it might be an easier sell to the public for the Coalition to continue the NBN.

The Malaysian Solution was a dud policy but Labor's Pacific Solution Mark 2 with the no advantage test is political brilliance. Que jumpers will be put back in the que under a Gillard government. Plus deterrence saves peoples lives coupled with the increased refugee intake. Gillard is subjecting work for the dole for refugees on Centrelink benefits. Gillard has invested enormously in skills and education. Refugees are getting up skilled and into the work force thanks to Gillard's though welfare to work policies. There will be no free loaders under a Gillard or Abbott government.
Lol which is all previous liberal policy...

Isn't that the point of the carbon tax so that businesses that pollute heavily go bust or learn to inivate?
How can they go bust if they raise prices in response to the tax so price rises are passed on to the consumer. Why bother to innovate when you can simply rise the price of a good or service. And we depend on industries like energy so it's a necessity not a want.

Everybody may just pass it on at first but soon enough a business will realize they can sell cheaper by innovating, and by selling cheaper than their competitors they will get more customers and more money, T least that's the theory I think

Have you even read any policy announcements? Officially confirmed that the next Abbott Government will implement fibre to the node (FTTN) instead of the current Fibre to the home model. NBN will be delivered quicker and years before the current model at a cost effective level.

Peter Slipper has never been a 'confidant' of Tony Abbott. He has been considered a liability at the very start but admittedly kept for political purposes. Just want to ask , have you read the texts that Slipper sent to Ashby? I think it was more than a blemish mate..

Julia Gillard pointing out that Tony Abbott was a sexist and a misogynist does not necessarily make it true. So how was it proven beyond reasonable doubt that Abbott has bias against women rights? Please give me source

Gillard is unfit to lead the Labor party with her dozens of broken promises to the Australian people and therefore the trust and integrity of the office of the PM of Australia.

How can it be sold cheaper than their competitors when we are in a global economy? I don't mind the carbon tax if everyone else has it therefore promoting innovation. But in the current environment where it's only Australia and the European Union it's I'd unsustainable. The EU ETS scheme is nearly three times cheaper than the carbon tax. So it's impossible for Australians exports to be competitive on the world market. I understand that Australia has one of the world highest emissions per capita and that is because of our low population and resources. So if you want to cut emissions quickly you can go nuclear and give up on our natural resources. Sounds feasible?

Tony Abbott is taking the axe to public sector jobs in order to fill his $11 billion budget black hole. This means less teachers, nurses and ADF personnel. God save Australia from the incompetent Tony Abbott.
Do you understand the structure of the Australian system of government? Seemingly not.. Teachers are the responsibility of the state and not federal level. For example cuts to NSW education was made by the state government. Public sector refers to federal government jobs and that doesn't mean ADF personnel. There is bipartisan support for ADF and its operations so don't drag this in. Nice try mate.

Okashi mate, it is you who doesn't understand the jurisdictions of the Austraian Parliamentary system. Education is a concurrent power with both the state and federal government enacting legislation and funding education.

If they raise prices consumers will choose a cheaper product or entrepreneurs will make businesses that sells the shit for cheaper. Free market

sorry, the liberal party don't believe in free markets. they believe the best way to achieve economic goals is through big government, which is why they're going to raise taxes and implement a welfare program for carbon emitters at the expense of honest, hard working tax payers.

i wish i was joking.

I know that but you were trying to say that there will be 'less teachers' under an Abbott Government. But the Federal Government has no right in the sacking of teachers and this is the responsibility of the state. The federal department of Education works jointly with the state and territory governments to work towards standards and benchmarks across the system. Any change in the number of teachers is dependant on the action of the state and territory governments. So there is no direct action that the Federal Govt can do to sack teachers in schools across Australia.

Exactly it's a free global market. Of course consumers will choose cheaper products but they won't be Australian because we simply cannot compete with foreign countries without an ETS or carbon tax. So there goes the whole lot of Australian jobs while socialists think about their utopia.

You are joking. Labor's carbon tax is hitting honest , hard working taxpayers. Labor is the hard taxing government here not the Libs. And there won't be a welfare program for emitters that you socialists seem to conjure up out of thin air. And the left blames Libs for being negative ... Look at all these false unproven allegations being spread about. On the other hand everything I have stated is true and written in the history books. ( broken promises by labor-undeniable)
