Abolish the concept of corporate donations to political parties and candidates, push for the abolishment of political parties in general (yes I understand that this is virtually impossible), abolish parliamentary pensions and many perks, reduce wages of MPs, get rid of the carbon tax, increase defence spending, push for more stringent performance objectives in government departments (bringing them more in line with the private sector), relax marijuana laws, increase support to start ups and small business (generous tax concessions), increase tax free threshold to $25,000 and reduce company tax rate to 25% (in accordance with Henry Review), cut a bunch of stupid government run initiatives (which I will come back and list when I am not procrastinating from my study)

i think this thread should be re-started and the budget included

outline where you would allocate funding, taxe rates, policies for major areas (health, education, employment etc)

wikipedia tells me the australian budget is $376.1 billion

these are the expenditures according to wiki

3 Expenditure mix
3.1 General government
3.2 Social security and welfare
3.3 Infrastructure, transport and energy
3.4 Education
3.5 Defence
3.6 Health
3.7 Community services and culture

This is actually p interesting. like thinking about allocating funding, policies and procedures etc.

Also assume that instead of "prime minister" you just have ultimate power and make all the decisions what would you do?

when i become less dedicated to my studies and start procrastinating, i will probs try and do this

Unlike the benign, gibbering Patriots who push the corrosive Jewish doctrine of Individualist Libertarianism, we Fascists believe that the state should play the role that the tribal council played in prehistoric societies – a benevolent authority which guides the behavior of the folk by providing rules. This can be compared to the way a father provides rules for his children. To understand this in clear terms, I feel it is beneficial to provide a list of things which I am demanding be made illegal.

Items are listed in no particular order.

The following should be made unequivocally illegal, punishable by internment in a concentration camp or execution:

Judaism
Usury
Abortion
Pornography
Sodomy
Homosexuality and transgenderism
Deforestation
Genetic Engineering
High fructose corn syrup, trans-fats, artificial sweeteners, etc.
Industrial Pollution
Environmentally destructive farming practices
Obesity
Immoral messages in movies, music, books and other media
Competing political parties
Cults
Judaphilia and Judaphilic Christianity
Psychiatry
The use or sale of dangerous drugs (marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms excluded, most pharmaceuticals included)
Exploitative or unfair business practices
The abuse of animals
Casino gambling
Street beggery
Freemasonry and other “secret societies”
Marketing and advertisement that uses manipulative psychological techniques
Electronic devices which produce harmful levels of radiation
Police brutality

On top of this, though the right of a person to hold their own personal opinions should not be infringed unless those opinions are representative of an organization which represents a clear and present danger to the people or the state, it should be punishable by internment in a concentration camp to propagandize for the following ideologies in electronic and printed media, public speaking, etc.:

Communism
Capitalism
Atheism
Libertarianism
Liberalism
Nihilism
Free love
Feminism
Anarchy
Any other doctrine which seeks to undermine the state or the morality of the people

Though they should not be outright made illegal, individuals should be under strong social pressure to avoid the following:

Divorce
Remaining unmarried (bachelorism/Old Maidism)
Failing to produce children
Promiscuous sex
Corporal punishment against ones children or wife
Internet addiction
Unnecessary cellphone usage
Video games
Laziness
Complaining
Being a pothead
Women wearing pants and other men’s clothing, men wearing make-up, gayish clothing, looking scruffy or unkempt

Workers in the public sector are not fucking "entitled" to extra pay, if they put in hard work then yes by all means increase their wage, but making a "minimum wage" for zero fucking productivity is ridiculous.

Having a high "minimum wage" ENCOURAGES LOW PRODUCTIVITY

You get paid for the amount of work you do. NO fucking 'entitlement' for simply fucking "being there"

I'd change this unfair educational system, by:
-Getting rid of ESL
-Getting rid of acceleration
-Allowing pre-prepared responses for various subjects (I mean for English essays, they should cut down the specification of the questions)
-Giving all schools SAME internal exams
etc etc

The first thing i would do...

lol these are all AWFUL ideas you moron

re: education i would completely reform everything

year 12 assessments would be based on QLD's model
- year 11 and 12 counts but not first sem of year 11
- teacher completely makes up internal assessments and *everything* but sends unit plans and sample works of students to QLD's version of BoS (name excapes me)
- they use the OP exam (2 days of general knowledge and stimulus creative writing at the year 10 level) to moderate marks rather than rely on ranks and 50% HSC exam which is fucked up

Really vague curriculum to maximise teacher autonomy (content is listed but nowhere near as specific as nsw's is now)
curriculum would be completely reformed, curriculum body would be comprised of a mix of experienced teachers and academics from the academic disciplines
masters degree OR honours compulsory for teachers
All universities must adopt similar teacher training programs with regular practical experience starting in first year and prac must expose you to a variety of schools including low and high ses, independent, private, public, special ed, high indigenous population etc
compulsory study of education for ATSI students for at least 1 sem and special ed for at least 1 sem

there's a bit more but I can't think of how to articulate it but tbh i think this^^^ is all pretty feasible

If elected PM of Australia I will increase taxes on the rich and promote reward for effort and entrepreneurship by less fortunate members of society. I will deliver a budget surplus. I will establish a sovereign wealth fund. I will establish a world class health system and a world class educational system. Cut spending on foreign aid and cut spending on renewable energy. I will also increase the refugee intake and build a big population Australia (40 million by 2050). I will also support a stronger Mineral Resources Rent Tax. I will support the carbon tax.

Why, cos they put in countless hours of effort into their jobs and brought ingenuity and brilliance to their fields and hence achieved greatness and financial reward? What the fuck is wrong with you retard! If you WORK HARD AND PUT IN EFFORT TO GET SOMETHING, why the hell should you have to give it to others JUST BECAUSE you have lots? Screw others! They can work for it themselves!

And why promote reward for the less fortunate members of society only? Promote it for everyone! A vast majority of the time, the "less fortunate" members of society are "less fortunate" for a clear reason. Poor people have no more rights than average and rich people. Everyone should be given the same opportunities, but if they decide not to take them and then complain about poverty, that fucking serves them right.

Increasing refugee intake? Are you one of those spectacular idiots who talks about "Look at all the space we have in australia! We inhabit such a tiny portion of the continent!"

I'll let you think over that one yourself.

And bro, have a real think about multiculturalism yea? Just take a look at netherlands. Take a long hard look. Listen intently to geert wilders.
