I hear that Standard English is terrible for you ATAR. But why ?

Is it because it scales bad ? Or is it because you MUST score high for it to be consider useful.

Also,is it just me ? Or does everyone else feel like 80 minutes in Paper 2 isn't enough time to write 2 essays .... Would they mark more "generously" than paper 1 ?

Because its aligning is terribad.

I also do English Standard and now I'm regretting choosing it over ESL...

It scales the same as advanced, but its aligning is horribru.
