Just wondering if I can still make it into marine biology (65 ATAR cut-off)

Thanks.

You should be considering a more 'better' course than 'marine bio' because your ATAR is around 99+

Ok troll post but anyway, there's some toxic shit being said here. You're working for 40+ years of your life. Do whatever the hell makes you happy and won't make you hate your life upon getting up at 6.30am for 5 days a week. It makes me glad to imagine that there's 99+ ATAR students who are passionate about marine biology. The world moves forward when people are efficient at doing their jobs. You shouldn't feel obliged to do med/law just because you've attained the necessary marks.

Also, i don't think those marks would correspond to 99.25 as someone else said. Probably higher, maybe 99.7-99.8+

EDIT: lol at the above post. "consider doing some serious courses?" what a completely asinine and immature thing to say.

If its his dream to become a marine biologist let it be that but with an ATAR estimation above 99+ he should reconsider his future and look at some serious courses.
All courses are serious

Basically are you telling him "don't waste your atar points?"

Completely and utterly agree

Remember a person telling me on work experience

"enjoy your job, never work a day in your life"

Unfortunately your ranks aren't good enough to get 65 atar. I don't blame you, because you attend a school ranked 2nd in the state where most people do not even attend school and are too busy on the pingas. Imo you should smash your externals, maybe like 98+ in all of them to be able to at least get 60 atar. Then you'll have to bullshit some disability or getting bullied at school to get 5 bonus points.

Nah jokes hahaha solid ranks man! :D Looking at 99.7+

Adding to this, always aim for the best in what you want to do.

If you can do Marine Biology @ Harvard, then do it

You know his name, not his story...

It's good to keep all your options open, regardless.
