I just want to know if you get lets say 92% in pdhpe and your cohorts average was lets say 52%, would that affect my atar?

Look Ms, if you are 2nd and below it will impact you but the lower you are on the chain the worser it will affect you now can you stop asking a question which has been asked repeatedly for so many years.

Depends more on the relative gaps.

If you're close to the first rank (behind by 3 marks MAX), your moderated mark would be safe. I remembered I was behind the top student by 24 marks in the school internal results but ended up only 10 marks behind him in the final hsc results so yea your average is one of the drivers for your moderation.
