If I did comp1917 2 years ago and did acct1501 + fins1613 this sem, does the wam reflect just this semester or all three subjects?

Considering it's for a stream declaration, it would be your total WAM, not just semester WAM.

You sure you get a mark for COMP1917? I assume that was HS1917 - my friends who did it only have it listed as completed, without a mark, and they had to request for it to be credited to their transcript.

I got a mark for it and it was listed as non-award. I requested it to be credited/transferred over to my degree because I realised I could count it as a general education course (I'm not doing engo/computing) and could save myself from forking out $1.3k for a subject.

My wam looks too good to be true considering I got 50% for one of my tests lmao

Well if a mark does appear on your transcript, it's reasonable to assume (at this point) that it is being counted in that WAM you see.

Sounds like you did quite well in computing 1a

What's a good WAM for a first year Actl/Comm student? Mine seems pretty low :(

the declare stream method works for me, but it appears my wam jumped definitely way too much. So I calculated my sem1 2016 wam using the WAM figure I got on the stream declaration thingy, the wam is comprised of the 2 results that I know already (i.e. wam is too high). I know 100% for sure I fked up in the other 2, so my true wam will be different to the stream declaration page.

I reckon it will update in the next few days when stuff gets entered, so I'll keep an eye out.

Stream declaration working for me.
Implied semester WAM deduced from total WAM: 89
Subjects:
Phys1160 - 93 (confirmed)
Fins2624 - Was top 5 in course prior to final, so expecting 92+
Acct2522 - Expecting 85-88
Econ1202 - Expecting 75

Seems to be a fair bit higher then what i was expecting.
Possibilities
1) Econ1202 has been scaled, possible since raw marks were very low across the board
2) Econ1202 has not been released and my estimates for the other three are higher then reality
3) All have been released and underestimated my marks

Aside from that, assuming fins2624 has been put in, either acct2522 or econ1202 i think must have been put in. That's about all i can get from it. Interested to see what other people can deduct

Fairly sure ACTL2131, FINS1612 and FINS2624 are out and reflected as well
how sure are you that actl2131 is reflected, and not Actl2111.. im assuming that you do 2111 as well.

currently my mark reflects 3 subjects.

My understanding of decimal points. First get your inferred semester wam by using your old wam and new one and weighting it by units of credit. Once you have the inferred wam, you can maybe use it to see how many subjects were used in it's calculation. If inferred wam is a whole number (could be 1,2,3 or 4) subjects. If inferred wam ends with .5 (could be 2 subjects most likely ) if ends with thirds most likely three or if ends with eights, must be 4 subjects. Pretty sure, but this in the inferred wam not the total wam
