Convert to Cartesian and equate to find values of X, Y and ZIs there actually a way of solving the intersection between 2 spheres using vectors?
Yes but strictly speaking that isn't a vector method.Convert to Cartesian and equate to find values of X, Y and Z
Yeah. Sadly ugly just happens sometimes. Not sure how you’d use vectors, however there is a method I would recommend. Finding the ratio of r1 to r1 you can find the perpendicular line that separates the circles in the ratio r1:r2 or something along those lines. Would be a lot easier with working paperYes but strictly speaking that isn't a vector method.
Also sometimes it gets really ugly?
E.g (x-1)^2+(y)^2+z^2=25
And (x-2)^2 (y+2)^2+(z+1)^2= 36 would be extremely hard to solve
Let’s just say it was a lot easier than I was expecting they were kind to us for COVID I guess. Don’t think I’ll end up doing maths in uni but that’s okhow was it? Tip: It really doesnt matter whether u have done 3u or 4u. In uni (if you are doing engineering/science and related) u will have to do 4u plus a whole lot more in the first maths course in first year.
Yeah. All worked out for me. Part 2 was just a repeated multiplication then multiply top and bottom by a long string of numbers to make the denominator workDid people get the last question part 2. When i worked out L(n-1) the numerator and denominator were the opposite way around to what you needed so i couldnt show it repeated. Did it 3 times and kept getting the same
Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it was high 70’s low 80’s. Anywhere in that regionPredictions for the E4 cutoff? Probably will hit the 80s mark yeah
So annoyed, all questions done fine and then spent 1 hour on that questionYeah. All worked out for me. Part 2 was just a repeated multiplication then multiply top and bottom by a long string of numbers to make the denominator work
That’s sucks man. She’ll be right, if that’s the biggest of your worries then you should easily get an E4So annoyed, all questions done fine and then spent 1 hour on that question
